Compassionate, personalized therapy for anxiety, depression, trauma, and life's transitions.
I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist providing telehealth services throughout California. Since earning my Master's in Counseling Psychology from California Lutheran University, I've had the privilege of helping teens, young adults, and adults manage anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, disordered eating, and life's transitions.
At my core, I'm a psychodynamic therapist. I believe our past experiences shape the way we think, feel, and relate to ourselves and others. Understanding the WHY behind our patterns creates the opportunity for lasting change.
At the same time, insight alone isn't always enough. I integrate Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), and other evidence-based approaches to help translate insight into meaningful, lasting change in everyday life.
Above all, I strive to create a safe, compassionate and nonjudgemental space where you feel genuinely understood and supported. My hope is that therapy helps you reconnect with yourself and strive to live a life that feels worth living.
The relationship is the instrument of change
I strongly believe in using our relationship as an instrument for change. In our work together, I hope to build a genuine connection that opens the door to growth and deeper awareness—a chance to examine and resolve the thoughts and behaviors that have been limiting you. I take a client-centered approach, focusing on what makes you you, and we'll build a plan rooted in your own strengths and goals.
“One of life’s hardest lessons is letting go. Whether it’s guilt, anger, love, loss. Change is never easy. You fight to hold on, and you fight to let go.”
